Since the expanded shape of the steel-aluminum drag chain is like an arch bridge, people often call it bridge-type steel-aluminum drag chain. Now the steel-aluminum drag chain is widely used on machine tools, mainly for cables, oil pipes, gas pipes, water pipes, and air ducts, playing a role in traction and protection. It also makes the overall appearance of the machine tool more beautiful.
Bridge-type steel-aluminum drag chains are divided into three types according to different usage environments and requirements: bridge-type steel drag chain, fully enclosed steel drag chain, and semi-enclosed steel drag chain.
Bridge-type steel-aluminum drag chains are available in models 45, 65, 95, 125, 180, 225, and 250. The width of the drag chain can be customized according to user requirements, with bending radius ranging from 50 to 800.
The main body of the steel-aluminum drag chain is composed of chain plates (high-quality steel plate chrome-plated), support plates (extruded aluminum alloy), and shaft pins (alloy steel), etc., so that no relative movement occurs between the cable or rubber hose and the drag chain, no torsional deformation occurs. The chain plates are chrome-plated, giving a novel appearance, reasonable structure, high flexibility, high strength, no deformation, easy installation, reliable use, and easy disassembly. Especially, this product adopts high-strength wear-resistant materials and alloy copper as shaft pins, improving the wear resistance of the product, making bending more flexible, reducing resistance, and lowering noise, thus ensuring long-term use without deformation or sagging.
The length of the drag chain = 1/2 stroke + 4 bending radii. This only applies when the fixed connection is at the midpoint of the stroke. The fixing of the drag chain can be selected according to the position of the machine tool. The fixed angle steel can be placed on the outer or inner circumference, inside or outside the drag chain. Generally, the connection part is inside the drag chain and outward to the outer circumference.
TLG series steel drag chain is a new type of steel drag chain, a supplement to the TL series. Compared with the TL series steel threading drag chain, it has greater mechanical strength and a more beautiful appearance. Steel drag chains can be quenched and carburized as needed to obtain stronger mechanical strength and toughness.
