1. Q: If the crane slide wire is used outdoors, with high power and harsh environment, which model of slide wire is better?
A: Crane slide wire is also divided into two categories: indoor slide wire and outdoor slide wire. Outdoor slide wire mainly adopts two protective measures: one is the thickened shell slide wire, and the other is the aluminum alloy shell to ensure its high protection. According to your situation, outdoor, high current, you can use aluminum alloy shell single-pole slide wire, and add rain cover, which I believe can meet your needs.
2. Q: Due to actual needs, the traveling direction of our crane needs to turn. In this case, can the crane slide wire be used normally? Does the crane slide wire have a standard length?
A: Crane slide wire has a standard length. Taking Shanghai Yibao slide wire as an example, the standard length of the single-pole crane slide wire produced by our company is 6 meters per piece. The multi-pole crane slide wire has a standard length of 4 meters per piece. The rigid slide wire has a standard length of 6 meters per piece. Crane slide wire can be made into an arc shape, but the arc must be greater than 1 meter. In such cases, the crane slide wire can be installed in an arc and work normally.
3. Q: Our workshop has many cranes, each with different working environments and power. What parameters should we use to select the appropriate crane slide wire? To ensure it performs at its best.
A: As long as we know the power of the crane, we can determine the current from it, and then select the crane slide wire based on the current and the usage environment. Single-pole slide wire is suitable for environments with high current and harsh conditions. Generally, for currents above 200A, we recommend single-pole slide wire. Multi-pole slide wire is suitable for environments with low current, stable and good conditions. Generally, for currents below 200A, we recommend multi-pole slide wire. Rigid slide wire can withstand high current and can ensure the cranes of existing market specifications, but due to its high price, we only recommend it for very harsh environments and cranes with high power.
