Busbar, also known as sliding wire, is a set of power transmission devices that supply power to mobile equipment.The power supply busbar device consists of three main components: the protective cover, conductor, and current collector, along with some auxiliary components.
1. Protective cover: It is a semi-enclosed tubular component and the main part of the busbar. Its interior can be embedded with 3-16 bare guide rails as power supply conductors as needed, and each guide rail is insulated from each other to ensure the safety of power supply. It also effectively prevents electric shock accidents for maintenance personnel during live maintenance. Each conduit produced by our factory is 4 meters in length and can be connected to any required length. Ordinary conduits are made in straight shapes, and can also be made into arc shapes according to special requirements.
2. Conductor: The main material is copper, and common cross-sectional areas include 10 square millimeters, 16 square millimeters, and 25 square millimeters.
3. Current collector is a set of brush shell frames that run inside the conduit. It is driven by a fork (or traction chain, etc.) installed on the electrical mechanism (such as a crane, trolley, electric hoist, etc.), causing it to move synchronously with the electrical mechanism, and transmitting the electrical energy from the guide rails and brushes to the motor or other control components. The number of poles of the current collector brushes ranges from 3 to 16, corresponding to the number of guide rail poles in the conduit.
