Safety Requirements for Crane Sliding Contact Lines
a: During the use of crane sliding contact lines, try to avoid being too close to other live parts. A certain safety distance should be maintained.
b: If the equipment powered by sliding contact lines has a small load and low current, protective devices such as grounding and neutral connection should be applied to the sliding contact lines.
c: Safety signs should be set at the installation and use locations of sliding contact lines to prevent other equipment or personnel from applying heavy pressure, causing shell rupture and safety accidents.
d: If the equipment powered by sliding contact lines has a large load and high current, it is easy to cause excessive voltage on the sliding contact lines. Voltage protection devices such as lightning arresters and protective gaps should be installed in the places where sliding contact lines are used.
e: When crane sliding contact lines are used outdoors or in places with dense indoor personnel, strict protective measures should be taken around them to prevent safety accidents caused by surface damage or leakage at joints.
f: Although special types of sliding contact lines have high-strength characteristics such as corrosion resistance, wear resistance, heavy pressure resistance, and high temperature resistance, and can be used normally in harsh environments, secondary protection should not be neglected due to their own characteristics. If sliding contact lines are used in harsh environments, secondary protection should be applied to extend their service life.
