Dari Electric recommends
The power supply busbar trolley device can be used for electric hoists, electric beam and electric single-girder bridge cranes; stackers, automatic detection lines for electromechanical products, automated production lines, mobile electric tools and other mobile power-receiving equipment, as well as busway fixed installation in factories, mines, workshops, and office areas.
Currently, single-pole H safety busbar trolleys are widely adopted, with significant improvements in protection level and insulation, ensuring safety and reliability.
Safety busbar trolley -- used in dusty, humid environments, can be equipped with dust-proof sealing strips and hand protection (when the busbar trolley is very close to people, hand protection is required, such as akapp). The collector speed is less than 300 meters/minute.
Multi-pole busbar trolley -- easy installation, fast speed, simple and compact structure, safe and reliable, suitable for currents below 100A commonly used
Rigid busbar trolley -- used for high-current equipment, with currents up to several thousand amperes, suitable for harsh environments and high temperatures
Single-pole busbar trolley -- combined according to different pole numbers, currents can also reach thousands of amperes, it is currently the most commonly used busbar trolley
The quality of the busbar trolley can be measured according to the following standards:
1. Carbon brush service life -- it is a consumable item, and the travel distance affects the equipment maintenance cycle.
2. Quality of the busbar trolley shell -- thickness, hardness, applicable temperature, environment, etc.
3. Collector performance -- mainly based on wheel service life, turning wheel design, and whether the collector can be used in various environments.
4. Expansion issue of the busbar trolley -- expansion must be considered when the length exceeds 100 meters.
5. Voltage drop issue -- the voltage drop varies according to the length of various copper bars.
Mobile equipment needs to constantly change positions due to movement. At each different position, the mobile equipment must be able to obtain power supply at any time, otherwise it cannot continue moving. At this point, the busbar trolley came into being. Several conductors are laid parallel along the movement track of the mobile equipment and connected to the power supply. On the mobile equipment, a current collector that can draw power from the conductors is installed. In this way, when the equipment moves, the current collector moves synchronously with the equipment and continuously obtains power from the conductors to supply the equipment, allowing it to continue moving. The device composed of these conductors and current collectors is called a busbar trolley.
The power supply busbar trolley device consists of three main components: the sheath, the conductor, and the current receiver, as well as some auxiliary components.
1. Sheath: It is a semi-closed tubular component and the main part of the busbar trolley. Inside, 3-16 bare guide rails can be embedded as power supply conductors as needed. The guide rails are insulated from each other to ensure the safety of power supply. It also effectively prevents electric shock accidents for maintenance personnel during live maintenance. The length of each conduit produced by the manufacturer varies, and they can be connected to any required length. Ordinary conduits are made in straight shapes, and can also be made into arc shapes or other special shapes according to specific requirements.
2. Conductor: The main material is copper. According to the cross-sectional area, common sizes are 10 square millimeters, 16 square millimeters, and 25 square millimeters.
3. The current receiver is a set of brush frames running inside the conduit. It is driven by a fork (or traction chain, etc.) installed on the power-consuming mechanism (such as a traveling crane, trolley, electric hoist, etc.), making it run synchronously with the power-consuming mechanism. It transmits the electrical energy from the guide rails and brushes to the motor or other control elements. The number of poles of the current receiver brushes ranges from 3 to 16, corresponding to the number of guide rail poles in the conduit.
(2) Product Characteristics
1. Safety: The shell of the power supply busbar trolley is made of engineering plastic with high insulation performance. The protection level of the shell can reach IP13 and IP55 levels as needed, protecting against rain, snow, ice attacks, and contact with hanging objects. The product withstands various environmental conditions. The insulation performance is good, and there is no harm to maintenance personnel who touch the outside of the power transmission conduit.
2. Reliable: The power transmission guide rails have excellent conductivity, fast heat dissipation, high current density, low impedance, and low line loss. The brushes are made of metal graphite materials with high conductivity and high wear resistance. The current receiver moves flexibly with good directional performance, effectively controlling contact arcs and series arcs.
3. Economical: The power supply busbar trolley device has a simple structure, using copper busbars with high current density, low resistivity, and low voltage loss as the main conductive body. It can save about 6% of electricity, achieving the substitution of plastic for steel and plastic for copper. The design is novel, requiring no additional insulation structure or compensation wires. It is installed on the same side as the crane control room, saving installation materials and costs. Its comprehensive cost is roughly the same as that of bare steel trolley wires.
4. Convenient: The power supply busbar trolley device integrates multiple levels of busbars into one conduit, making assembly simple. Its fixing brackets, connecting clamps, and suspension devices are supplied as universal parts, making installation, disassembly, adjustment, and maintenance very convenient.
