Single-pole sliding contact line is a new type of power supply system for feeding power to mobile mechanical equipment. The installation of single-pole sliding contact line is relatively more flexible compared to other types of sliding contact lines. Here, I will briefly introduce the installation process of single-pole sliding contact line.
First, we need to select the fixed bracket. There are generally three types of fixed brackets for single-pole sliding contact lines, and of course, there are also some special models, which will not be exemplified here. The brackets are divided into I-shaped bracket, Z-shaped bracket, and L-shaped bracket. When selecting, it should be based on the model of the mobile equipment. For single-beam cranes, choose Z-shaped bracket; for double-beam cranes, choose I-shaped bracket. The selection of the bracket is generally determined by the model of the mobile equipment and the overall length of the sliding contact line, and can be adjusted appropriately by yourself. When installing the fixed brackets, keep the bracket horizontal and vertical and parallel to other installed fixed brackets. Generally, the installation distance of each fixed bracket is between 1.2M and 1.5M, which can be adjusted according to actual conditions. After the fixed brackets are installed, install the sliding contact line suspension frame on the fixed bracket, then put the single-pole sliding contact line into the suspension frame, and tighten the nuts on the suspension frame to fix it. Remember to install end caps at both ends of the sliding contact line.
Special attention: When the total length of a sliding contact line is greater than 150M-200M or when the sliding contact line works in a high-temperature environment for a long time, expansion sections must be installed. If multiple mobile devices run simultaneously on a single-pole sliding contact line, it is recommended to install maintenance sections, which make your inspection and maintenance more convenient. The installation position of the maintenance section is not fixed and can be adjusted according to your actual situation.
After completing the previous work, the only remaining step is to install the current collector. We just need to fix the current collector to the mobile equipment through the bracket, so that the current collector can run flexibly within the sliding contact line track. After the current collector is installed, the entire single-pole sliding contact line is installed. Then, after a final check, we can turn on the power and conduct a trial run, starting from equipment with small power to large power, to check whether all links are safe and error-free.
