The structure of busbar is diverse, but the general principle is as follows: Since mobile equipment needs to constantly change positions, it must be able to obtain power at any time in each different position, otherwise it cannot continue to move. At this point, the busbar came into being. We lay several conductors parallel along the moving track of the equipment and connect them to the power supply. On the moving equipment, we also install current collectors that can draw power from the conductors. In this way, when the equipment moves, the current collector moves synchronously with the equipment and obtains power from the conductor at any time to provide it to the equipment, so that the equipment can continue to move. The device composed of these conductors and current collectors is called a busbar.Synchronously, and obtain power from the conductor at any time to provide it to the equipment, so that the equipment can continue to move. The device composed of these conductors and current collectors is called a busbar.
According to different electrical equipment, there are various forms of busbar. For example, in subways, the steel rail on the side of the tunnel is used as the busbar, and in industrial and mining enterprises, bridge cranes use three angle steels as the three-phase busbar.
Busbar is mainly used in various lifting and transport machinery, production lines and other facilities and places that require mobile power supply, such as cranes, loading bridges, electric hoists, three-dimensional warehouses, amusement equipment, air conditioning testing lines, etc. It is widely used in lifting and transport, electric power, shipbuilding, ports, metallurgy, mining, water plants, environmental protection, chemical industry, home appliances, automobiles, clothing, tobacco and alcohol, amusement and many other industries.
Safety busbar is a new type of mobile power supply device. With its superior performance of insulation, safety, temperature resistance, vibration resistance, and energy saving, it gradually replaces the old exposed angle iron and copper bar busbar. The safety busbar is composed of smooth and flat T2 copper bars or aluminum profiles embedded with wear-resistant conductors, which are filled in engineering plastic tubes or channel plates, forming a power transmission conduit. There is an open slot at the bottom of the conduit to facilitate the operation of the current collector, and the high wear-resistant copper-based graphite brush of the current collector guides the power to the working equipment. The use of safety busbar brings safety to the workshop, but it also has disadvantages. Bridge cranes are prone to power failure during use, and sometimes sparks are generated in the power transmission conduit. In severe cases, the busbar may "explode" at a certain point, causing frequent replacement of current collectors and affecting production. To this end, the following improvements have been made: (1) Increase the chamfer of the current collector brush and polish it smooth; (2) Increase the spring strength and elasticity between the two opposite brushes of the current collector to ensure the spring can recover freely; (3) Deepen and reinforce the spring seat of the current collector to ensure that the recovery spring of the brush is not easy to "displace" during work; (4) The connection block at the joint of two sections of safety busbar should have a chamfer to ensure smooth transition of the current collector. At the same time, in order to ensure the normal use of the safety busbar, the standardized operation of the crane operator, regular maintenance by the maintenance worker, and regular inspection are also essential.
