Monopolar Aluminum Sliding Contact Line Manufacturer
Darui Electric recommends
If the value of n has a decimal, no matter how large the decimal is, it needs to be rounded up. In the above example, each phase (and each line) requires 2 expansion components. It should be noted that under the same conditions, using different materials for the conductor will result in different numbers of expansion components.
For example: a 180-meter-long system, with a minimum ambient temperature of -10 ℃, using standard SL2 copper conductor. n=(80-(-10))×(180-150)×1000×0.0000162÷50≈0.9. For copper conductor and galvanized steel conductor under the same conditions, the number of expansion components required is less than that for aluminum conductor.
5. Selection of conductor rail specifications
For systems powered by 380V, the operating current of the crane is approximately twice its total power.
For systems with more than one crane, the total operating current of the system needs to consider the following situations.
- One crane: the two largest motors among all cranes
- Two cranes: the three largest motors among all motors
- Three cranes: the three largest motors among all motors
- Four cranes: the four largest motors among all motors
After determining the system's operating current, determine the coefficient (K) based on the following ambient temperature (Ta) and crane duty cycle coefficient (Duty). The actual allowable current of the conductor rail I = nominal current × K. It is necessary to select a conductor rail with I greater than the system's actual operating current.
Technical Key Points
Edit
I. Sliding contact line system installation conditions
1. The mobile equipment (crane or other) and track have been installed.
2. The incoming power cable and the outgoing cable of the mobile equipment have been laid in place.
3. Confirm whether the specifications of the above cables meet the interface requirements of the sliding line power input and current collector. If a vehicle needs to install multiple sets of current collectors, check whether the cable transfer box is complete.
4. There should be a work platform available on site, such as the crane maintenance platform, a construction hanging basket that can move along the track, or a freely movable scaffold. If using the crane maintenance platform, there should be a convenient and safe temporary power connection.
5. On-site cooperation from the electrical technical personnel of the sliding line buyer and the crane operator is required.
6. The site can provide construction equipment and materials, such as welding machines, oxygen cutting machines, temporary cables, etc.
II. Confirm the system layout
1. Overall layout of the system (usually horizontal layout).
2. Number and position of expansion components.
3. Number and position of fixed clamps.
4. Number and position of power inputs.
5. Number and position of maintenance units.
III. Installation sequence
