Recommended Summary of Three Gases Causing Corrosion in Dust Collector Bags

Recommended by Darui Electric

Dust collector bags are a type of dust removal device. With the environmental degradation side effects brought by economic growth in recent years, their production has increased, and varieties have become increasingly widespread. In power plants, there is a lot of dust, and temperatures are often relatively high, so electrostatic precipitation technology is commonly used. However, this technology is limited by the properties of the dust, and using cyclone dust removal technology is not effective. It involves using a mesh to separate solid particles from the air. Based on the mesh used for filtration, it can be divided into fiber filtration, membrane filtration, and particle filtration. Although these methods have different principles, they can all achieve the desired effect. Power plants use a combination of fiber filtration, membrane filtration, and particle filtration. The mechanism of the dust collector is to first intercept and screen particles through the fiber mesh, then use gravity and electrostatic effects for separation, achieving the purpose of purification and dust removal.

Corrosion is one of the common causes of damage to dust collector bags. Since the flue gas contains various corrosive substances, and the corrosive effect is greater in high-temperature environments, this can cause damage to the filter bags.
