     Safety conductor rail is a new type of mobile power supply device, which gradually replaces the old exposed angle iron and copper bar conductor rails due to its superior performance such as insulation, safety, temperature resistance, vibration resistance, and energy saving. The safety conductor rail uses smooth and flat T2 copper bars or aluminum profiles embedded with wear-resistant conductors, which are filled in engineering plastic tubes or trough plates, as current-carrying conductors, forming a power transmission conduit. There is an open slot at the bottom of the conduit to allow the current collector to run, and thecurrent collector's high-wear-resistant copper-based graphite brush guides the electric power to the working equipment.current collector.

 

 

 

    The use of safety conductor rails brings safety to the workshop, but there are also disadvantages. Bridge cranes are prone to power failure of thecurrent collector during use, sometimes sparks are generated inside the power transmission conduit, and in severe cases, a "bang" occurs in the conductor rail, causing frequent replacement of the current collector and affecting production.

 

 

 

      To this end, the safety conductor rail has been improved as follows: increase the chamfer of the current collector brush and polish it smooth; increase the strength and elasticity of the springs between two opposite brushes of the current collector to ensure the springs recover freely; deepen and reinforce the spring seat in the current collector to prevent the recovery spring from "shifting" during operation; the connecting block at the joint of two sections of the safety conductor rail should have a chamfer to ensure smooth transition of the current collector. At the same time, to ensure the normal use of the safety conductor rail, standardized operation by crane operators, regular maintenance and inspection by maintenance workers are also essential.
